A Dream That Began in the Kitchen

Lola’s Pizza started with a simple dream—one that began with a young high school student, Bruce. Growing up, Bruce spent countless hours cooking and baking alongside his beloved Grandma and Mother. There was never a recipe too complicated or time-consuming. It was these early moments that sparked his lifelong love for food and cooking.

Education and Experience

Bruce’s passion for food led him to pursue an education in Hospitality Management with a Food and Beverage Specialty at UNLV. After graduating, he worked and managed various pizza places, including Bill’s Pizza & Pub in Mundelein, IL. But Bruce’s true dream was always to own his own restaurant—one that could combine his love for family recipes, exceptional customer service, and fresh, homemade food.

The Inspiration Behind the Name

In the midst of chasing his dreams, Bruce welcomed an adorable Pomeranian puppy into his life—Lola. This sweet little dog captured Bruce's heart and became the inspiration for the name of the restaurant. Lola’s Pizza is a family-owned and operated establishment, dedicated to honoring the most beloved dog ever and offering fresh, homemade food that stands out in the area.
